Creativity

Having a good idea is easy, but having a creative idea is not that easy…

People are used to following trends and that’s cool. I assure you that it works.

You can gain some followers from here and there, but if you want to be transgressive and have a huge impact, it won’t happen doing things that are already there and people are doing.

The key is being creative, being bold, original and unique. You don’t want to follow the trends. You want to CREATE them. Being creative means taking risks, doing something that no one has ever done.

It’s difficult and you don’t really know how people are going to react. But when you nail it, it works 100 times better than doing things that people are already doing.

To reach the creativity flow state, there are certain habits that can help you to arrive at this mental state.

Simplicity

Having a good idea is easy, but having a creative idea and simple at the same time is not that easy…

Overproduced content doesn’t always work. We had a bunch of examples working for big brands. As more elements we use in our images like: lights, people, production, and photography stuff, we noticed that the engagement decreases, no matter the quality of the picture or the idea.

This is why we use everyday day objects when we work. Always try to make it easy.

In fact, the quality of your ideas depends on that in some way.

If you need overproduction maybe it’s not a good idea after all.

A good idea should be simple.

Accesibility

Having a good idea is easy, but having an idea, creative, simple at the same time, and accessible to everyone is not that easy…

People are tired of watching others doing stuff.

People want to be part of the process.

People want to give it a try. They want to explore.

It’s not like a time ago, when people were happy admiring certain skills. In the world we live today with all the resources that we have, people want to be able to try. That’s why it’s important to make your content accessible for everyone, if they can recreate it, automatically they are going to find it more interesting.

So, the probability of our audience to save or share that content with close friends or family is higher because they can try themselves.

Then they start to feel like they owe you in some way, like: “oh! I copied this idea from Jordi! And I, Jordi, really don’t mind.

I want you folks to try and recreate my work. That is another way for brands and potential partners to see that we inspire others and that our work it’s transgressive.

Visual Impact

Having a good idea is easy, but having an idea, simple at the same time, also accessible to everyone, and visually impacting is not that easy…

Time goes fast. We are always in a hurry. We have no free time. Always remember that.

It’s very important the concept or the message you want to deliver to your audience, BUT it’s as important as retaining the audience. If you can’t retain your audience, they won’t feel your message.

What can we do to keep this audience with us? Be visually attractive. That’s the key.

Our method is easy: the first 3-5 seconds of all our creations have to be visually shocking.

These first seconds have to wake up emotions, curiosity, or any other kind of feelings in our audience, which will transform these feelings into interest.

This is why the BTS is AS IMPORTANT as the final result. If BTS doesn’t make an impact, the audience won’t reach the final result.

Wow Effect

Having a good idea is easy but having a creative idea, simple at the same time, also accessible to everyone, visually impacting, and that produces in your audience a wow effect is not that easy…

I define the wow effect like that: When I focus on delivering the “WOW effect”, I aim to push the boundaries of creativity. I don’t just follow trends—I strive to set them.

By experimenting with unique, unexpected elements in my photoshoots, I surprise my audience, keeping them engaged and inspired. Whether it’s using everyday objects in ways that have never been seen before or capturing stunning visuals with simple, minimal setups, I always look for ways to exceed expectations.

One of the bases for all kinds of content creators.

Simplicity is key for me. I’ve learned that overproduced content can sometimes miss the mark, so I focus on creating powerful images that speak through minimalism. When fewer elements are involved, the message is often clearer and more impactful.

I also love making my work accessible. By sharing behind-the-scenes insights and tutorials, I encourage my audience to recreate my shots. It feels great knowing that people can engage with my creative process, and I see it as a way to connect and inspire. This approach has allowed me to build a community that not only appreciates the work but also feels involved in it.

Finally, I always push myself to deliver beyond what’s expected. My goal is to constantly surprise and wow my followers with fresh ideas and bold concepts. This keeps Koalitic at the forefront of innovation, ensuring that my audience remains excited and inspired by every project I work on.

As you can see, the wow effect includes all the points mentioned above!
